Kevin and Asma Henry drove away in their new Wheego LiFe from a dealership in Atlanta, Ga.
Two Atlanta residents took delivery of Wheego’s first highway-speed electric vehicle—the LiFe.
The Wheego LiFe can reach speeds of up to 65 mph, and has a range of approximately 100 miles on a single charge. The vehicle qualifies for a $7500 federal tax credit, and other state incentives—including additional tax credits and HOV lane access.
According to Kevin Henry, buying a Wheego LiFe was his wife’s idea. Asma, a freelance consultant in international assistance programs, said she is committed to protecting the environment and reducing fossil fuel consumption. She walks and bikes to neighborhood shops, prefers fresh air to conditioned air, and dries laundry in the back garden.
Wheego electric vehicles are sold through a nationwide dealer network—for an up-to-date list, visit the Wheego dealer listing at www.wheego.net/more/dealer-list.
