What can you say about a keyboard and mouse that hasn’t already been said? The keys on Verbatim’s Mini Wireless Slim are fast and responsive, with very little key “click,” and the mouse moves the cursor on the screen and allows you to click on buttons.

What’s surprising about this slim keyboard and mouse setup is the company that makes it. Verbatim is better known for its storage media—blank DVDs/CDs and flash drives—than its accessories. But Verbatim delivers, though it’s hard to mess up a keyboard and mouse.

The 2.4 GHz wireless setup provides smooth and responsive communication, and the piano black finish is attractive but can get scuffed up pretty quickly. This set only plays nice with Windows 7 and Vista and even comes with the four AAA batteries you’ll need to get up and running. So, if you’re looking to go wireless with your current PC setup, the Verbatim Mini Wireless Slim Keyboard and Mouse is available from several online retailers, such as Amazon and New Egg, for about $40.
