The WiLink integrates GPS, Wi-Fi (802.11n), FM and Bluetooth technologies.

According to Texas Instruments, integrating these capabilities on a single chip, the 65-nanometer WiLink solution reduces costs by 30 percent, reduces size by 50 percent and delivers superior coexistence performance in comparison to today’s existing solutions.

Devices using the WiLink solution are expected to enter the market by the end of 2010.
