Phoenix, Ariz., December 19 – Sentry Enterprises, Inc., publisher of MyLIFE Magazine, announced a new and innovative editorial thrust for MyLIFE, beginning with its January 2012 issue.
The upcoming issue will feature illustrations and renderings from Zack Jones, a local Cave Creek artist, photographer and illustrator. Jones will be joining the publication’s creative/editorial staff.
This unique partnership will have Jones creating an ongoing series of commissioned prints/renderings (a la Norman Rockwell) that will form a regular feature of all future issues. The focus of Jones’ works will address key political, national and local-subject issues that the magazine’s management feels need to be shared with MyLIFE readers. Selected issues may contain multiple renderings.
Jamie Copland, chief executive officer of Sentry Enterprises, grew up and was greatly influenced by such legendary publications as Reader’s Digest, Time Magazine, National Geographic and Life Magazine. He also enjoyed the thought-provoking illustrations of Rockwell. “What these iconic publications also offered was intellectual reading and awesome photography, coupled with meaningful editorials, book reviews, current news and iconic profiles of world leaders, actors and actresses,” Copland said.
