If you’re an Android user, and like music, then you’ll love MusicID. With this new app, you can identify music tracks playing on the radio, TV, movies, or anywhere where there is music playing by simply holding your phone up to the music—it can also provide you with song lyrics.
Another great feature is the app’s search tool, which allows you to search songs by entering any partial lyrics, artist names, or song names.
MusicID uses the media database provider, Gracenote, which is one of the largest databases in the world. The app can be downloaded from the Android Marketplace for $2.99. It is also available for the iPhone on the iTunes App Store.
